Email Storage on Server Policy

This policy is very important because if you do not understand it you may lose some emails. As a rule we ask that you retrieve your email from the server often, and do not store email on the server for more than 5-7 days. This is a setting in your email program or mobile device not on the server. This is because if you do store email for longer on the server, depending on the amount/size of email you receive during that time, your box may fill up. If that happens "all additional email" will be rejected! That is because the email box is full, even though you have read/received most of the mail in the box you are still storing it in the box on the server - so it is "still there" taking up space. New mail has nowhere to go but back to where it came from - so it bounces..
